This new Repertory covers both historical and modern aspects of homeopathy and, most importantly, associates them in an interesting manner with conventional medicine. The bridge function of homotoxicology and its special therapeutic features, compared with classical homeopathy, are described. Homeopathic medicines are classified from constitutional medicines to nosode and organ preparations and to homeopathically adjusted allopathic medicines and catalysts, including the so-called homaccords and other composite medicines. Especially in relation to such composites, stimulation of organ functioning and their therapeutic importance and usefulness in acute phases are explained based on their similarity function, even according to findings in microbiology and pathology, which reflect symptomatologic occurrences. In addition, and according to Bianchi, such a strategy may have value in preparing the patient for a refined homeopathic approach with single homeopathic medicines.
Bianchi explains his view on specific and nonspecific stimuli, essential for understanding the logic of composites and low dilutions. He emphasizes careful history taking under the clinical aspects of homotoxicology, combined with the symptomatology customary in homeopathy. Ways of administering remedies are discussed (ie, injections), as are combined dilution levels of one starting material. Also, the logic of one or the other dilution level in prescribing is explained.

A special chapter presents “13 Reasons for the Complex Homeopathic Remedies in Homeopathic Practice” as an integrated approach to any pathology. They include the holistic approach, the constitutional aspects of homeopathic prescribing, and the intoxicatory problem important for homotoxicological understanding and for the treatment of acute conditions.

The Repertory is divided into chapters of physiological importance that follow a system elected by Bianchi, related to his view on homotoxicology. The page titles help to find specific chapters and subchapters that, in general, follow the upcoming organizational order:

System and/or pathological explanatory introduction
Symptoms and pathologies (clinical alphabetical Materia Medica)
Clinical and homotoxicological selective experience, protocols, or clinical cases
Regional leaders giving a selection of specific plant monographs corresponding to the physiological system (the “region”) from a homeopathic point of view
If considered necessary, Bianchi adds a Homotoxicological Protocol for certain and related conditions
The last chapter, called “Generalities,” is a clinical Materia Medica with corresponding homeopathic single and homeopathic combination medicines. This Materia Medica is followed by a section that corresponds to treatment of elderly patients. The page title is “Geriatrics” and, again, Bianchi presents his Materia Medica, consisting of homeopathic monographs of starting materials in alphabetical order, with tables showing the respective dilution contained in widely available antihomotoxic medicines. This is followed by a useful list of entire Latin names for homeopathic medicinal starting materials, which helps to understand the corresponding Materia Medica abbreviations.

The comprehensive Repertory is a good example of Bianchi’s tremendous experience in clinical practice and teaching, showing his wide knowledge of homeopathy, including Reckeweg’s therapy approach of homotoxicology and its therapeutic advantages, underlining the bridge function between conventional and homeopathic medicine.
